– Suppose you conduct some lengthy measurements for several weeks. However, you lost notes from last week’s observations. Now you don’t have the exact data anymore. However, you think you remember last week’s measurements. You complete the data set by making up the final week’s measurements from memory.
– A large part of your data collection consists of interviews. However, these interviews are quite lengthy and time is running out. You still need to interview ten more people. Overall, the data from the interviews is quite similar. So you already have an idea of what the outcomes will be. So you make up the data for the last ten interviews.
