Project Coordination Prof Dr Hub Zwart is Professor of Philosophy at the Faculty of Science (Radboud University Nijmegen, SKU) and scientific director of the Centre for Society and the Life Sciences (CSG). He is Director of Education of the Institute for Science, Innovation and society (ISIS) and participated in several EU projects (FP7 and earlier, among which Coastal Values, INES and NERRI). He studied philosophy (cum laude) and psychology (cum laude) at Radboud University Nijmegen, worked as research associate at the Centre for Bioethics (IGE, Maastricht, 1988-1992) and defended his thesis on consensus formation in a pluralistic society in 1993 (cum laude).

Project Management Dr Willem Halffman lectures at the Institute for Science, Innovation, and Society, at the Radboud University, Nijmegen. He has a background in Science and Technology Studies, coming from political and social sciences. He is an expert on the topic of science policy, in particular on how experts advise public policy processes and has been working on research collaboration with civil society, including in the FP7-EU project CREPE.
Project Participant Dr Luca Consoli is Assistant Professor of Science and Society at the Radboud University Nijmegen. After his PhD in theoretical physics (2002) he has concentrated his research and teaching activities on science ethics, scientific misconduct and the societal impact of modern science and technology. His theoretical focus lies in the application of a virtue-ethical framework to analyse contemporary scientific practices.
